Hi! Welcome to the Tiny Adventure blog. I am very new at
this, so be patient with me. Grammar is one of my many challenges. Let me tell
you about my family. My husbands name is David. My son is David jr and I am
Victoria. We have been married for six
years. We have had such a whirlwind adventure of a marriage.
How it began!
Due to my husbands job as a Soldier in the
ARMY, we move all the time. In the last 6 years we have moved soooooo many
times. Each time has brought us to great places, and really scary places. I
hate the process of finding a house to rent. This brought us to this idea. My
husband is being sent to Fort Richardson Alaska. I am excited. I've wanted to
move to Alaska for years. I am all about living deep in the woods. When the
process began to look for homes, I freaked out. No way was I going to pay
$1,200 for an apartment. NO WAY! My first though was, let's build a collapsible home. Then the whole process seemed overwhelming to me. So I decided let’s do an RV. My husband was
excited with the idea. We currently live on a great private large lot. I rather live
in an RV then in an apartment. This
would allow us to live outside the city. So I began the search for an RV. What an over whelming process. I was watching the TV show,
Extreme RVs one day. When I came across this great idea. A mobile cabin! AWESOME! It
was a special on Tumbleweed tiny house. What a great idea!

Alaska! I am so excited. |
No we are not crazy. Yes we are building a portable house, and then moving it to a lot in Alaska. Then running it on wind mill. That does sound a little crazy. Who cares! Life is short. Who made the rules that we have to live like everyone else. Do what works for you. So yes moving to lot in the woods in a Tiny house is what works for us. Tiny Adventure!
